1. Scope

This policy covers the Site only. Memberships, payments and community discussion happen on third-party platforms such as Whop, Discord and YouTube; information you give them is governed by their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

• Information you submit: the name, contact handle (Discord / WeChat / email), trading style, years of experience, type of collaboration and introduction you enter in the "Join us" form. Browsing the Site requires no account or sign-in.
• IP address: when you submit the form, your IP address is used for bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) and rate limiting (at most 5 submissions per address per hour). We store only a keyed hash of the IP address, never the address itself.
• Access logs: our hosting provider automatically logs requests (for example IP address, browser type, time and page) for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them after a short period under its own policy.
• Cookies: the Site uses one functional cookie, "jd-lang", to remember your language for one year. Sign-in cookies are used only by our two administrators. We use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics tools.
• We do not collect payment information. Memberships are purchased and paid for entirely on Whop.
• If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

3. How we use it

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

• to review your collaboration application and reply through the contact you left;
• to prevent spam and abuse and keep the Site secure;
• to operate the Site and fix problems.

4. Service providers

We use the following providers to run the Site. They process data only on our instructions to provide their services:

• Vercel: website hosting;
• Supabase: database and image storage. Images such as member review screenshots are served directly by Supabase, which receives your IP address when they load;
• Cloudflare: DNS, bot protection (Turnstile), and forwarding mail sent to support@jdtradingedu.com to our inbox;
• Upstash: rate-limit counters for the form, holding only IP hashes that expire after one hour;
• Google (Gmail): receiving and answering email.

5. Third-party links

The Site links to YouTube, Discord, Whop and other sites. Once you follow a link you leave the Site, and those sites' own privacy policies apply.

6. Retention

We keep application details only as long as needed to evaluate a collaboration and talk with you, and we regularly remove applications we no longer need. You can ask us to delete yours at any time. Our activity log records only an application's number and status, never its content. To recover from failures we keep encrypted database backups; copies in backups are deleted as the backups are replaced.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@jdtradingedu.com. We will reply within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.

8. Security

The Site uses HTTPS throughout. Applications are visible only to our two administrators, database access is controlled by row-level security, and backups are stored encrypted. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, however.

9. Minors

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Where data is stored

Our servers and providers are in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page changes with every update, and significant changes will be noted on this page.
